Fertilizing
Feeding everything that isn't the lawn — indoor plants, outdoor pots and beds, berries, roses and shrubs. Add your specific plants and products in Setup; the notes below are the Zone-8a rhythm.

Reference
Indoor plants
Feed every ~2 weeks during active growth (spring–summer) with a dilute balanced or fish-emulsion liquid; pull back to monthly or stop in winter. Never feed a bone-dry, dormant, or stressed plant — water first.
Outdoor pots & beds
Container plants are heavy feeders (frequent watering flushes nutrients) — liquid-feed every ~2 weeks, or mix slow-release at planting. Topdress beds with compost in spring.
Blueberries & acid-lovers
Holly-tone PLUS Espoma soil acidifier against alkaline Atlanta tap. Never lime. Mulch with pine bark/needles. Feed in early spring and again after fruiting.
Roses & flowering shrubs
Balanced feed every ~6 weeks spring through summer; stop 6–8 weeks before first frost so you don't push tender growth into fall.
Trees & established perennials
Mostly lean — an annual compost topdress is usually enough. Don't over-fertilize natives/wildflowers.
Vegetable garden
See the Garden Guide for the tomato/pepper feeding schedule (10-10-10 at planting → 5-10-10 at flowering).
